This is a once a year opportunity. Each year the trees donated by Japan over 100 years ago provide a gorgeous vista of pink and white encircling the Tidal Basin, making cherry blossoms the signature event of DC’s tourist season. Photo enthusiast and visitors to the nation’s capital should not miss this extraordinary event. You will learn how to Unlock the potential of your camera in shooting people, architecture, landscapes and monuments, and you will come away with gorgeous images in your camera.
Photo Safari Details:
• Three-Hour Cherry Blossom Photo Safari.
• Instruction from landscape and fashion photographer Arnab Kar.
• Bring your DSLR Camera or advanced point and shoot camera.
• Bring tri-pod if you have one. (optional)
• Photographers meet at the national Washington Monument at 2 pm on any of the dates mentioned above.
• First 30 minutes going over the camera features and controls.
• Then walk around the tidal basin and capture the magnificent bloom of cherry blossom trees in the background of the Jefferson Memorial and the tidal basin and go over the compositions and the right way to shoot.
• If time permits shoot other buildings around the mall.
2. Three Hour Monument Photo Safari.

Embark on a three-hour photo safari of the nation’s stoic monuments and capture them through your camera lens. We will photograph the Lincoln Memorial, White House, and US Capitol building. Arnab will provide expert tips to make your landscape photos look like a pro.
The Nation’s Capitol is wonderfully steeped in history and symbolism. Bring these timeless treasures to life through the lens of your camera.

Bring your photography skills to a pro level with Landscape and Fashion photographer Arnab Kar. Arnab has been published internationally as well as locally. If you have recently come into possession of a DSLR and stuck in the auto mode or some who prefers to shoot in the auto mode but struggling with composition. Arnab will use his experience to walk you through the basics of photography skills, from ISO to composition to depth-of-field to help beginner and intermediate photographers learn how to make your photos look like a pro.
